We’re all busy… and one of my personal favorite soluations to my busy life is using my crockpot. Anything I can make in the crockpot I will! I haven’t made lasagna in the over since I discovered this recipe!

Ingredients:

-1 lb ground beef
-1.5 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp ground peppar
-1 onion, chopped
-1 tsp Italian seasoning
-2 tbls dried parsey flakes
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tbls Worcestershire sauces
-6oz can of tomato paste
-28oz can of tomato sauce
-approx. 4 lasagna noodles
-4 cups shredded mozza cheese
-1 1/2 cups of cottage cheese
-1/2 cup parmesean

Directions:

1. In a large skillet over medicum heat, brown ground beef, and onion.

2. Add spices: salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, parsley, garlic powder (I just eyeball the spices I don’t measure them), Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste and tomato sauce. Stir, cover and let sit for a few mins.

3. Spread 1/2 the meat sauce in the bottom of your crockpot. Cover with a layer of noodles. You will need to break noodles to make them fit.

4. Combine mozza, cottage cheese and parmesean cheese, spoon one half of the mixture over the noodles.

5. Add the rest of the meat sauce, another layer of noodles, and the rest of the cheese mixture. Cover with more mozza cheese if desired.

6. Cover and cook for 3-3.5 hours on low. Be careful of edges burning.

Simple but yum! I found a similar recipe on Pinterest but ended up altering it quite a bit.
