Chicken Fried Rice
Original recipe.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts
- Rice
- 1 egg
- 2-4 sticks of celery
- 1 cup of peas
- Soya sauceÂ
Note: measure ingredients based on your desired amount of rice. For two people and some leftovers I usually make 2 cups of rice and use 2 chicken breasts.
Directions
- Prepare rice according to directions on package
- Chop chicken into small chunks, fry in a large frying pan at medium heat.
- Chop up celery, once chicken is cooked add celery and peas to the frying pan.Â
- Create a space in the frying pan to add uncooked egg, crack egg and place into pan, stir egg around as it cooks, mix in with chicken and veggies.Â
- Once rice is prepared, add rice to the pan, mix all ingredients together, add desired amount of soya sauce.
- Let simmer for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy!
